1 month, 1/3 lemon, 1/2 lime, 2 teaspoons of fresh honey and some cold sparkling water later, I am ready to blog again.
After the move I had a really rugh time finding my own place again, beeing able to create. I had to join the two studios, the one used for my babywearing products and my personal sewing space, and this wasquite difficult. First of all because the space was the same but two different thing needed to use it, second because there was nothing inspiring here and third because this was the last thing on my mind.
Somehow yesterday I finished throwing zounds of old stuff that were using precious space and found myself in front of an extremly ugly almost white wall. Working at the walls is nowhere on my list for this year, so I had to come up with something.
So, cheesy or not :D, here it is, my new wall.
I auditioned tons of fabrics. White background, full colour, large scale prints, small scale prints, classics, geometrics, very thin, home decor. And then it hit me: Echino! All those scraps that I never never throw away, no matter how small.
I am so in love with everything this incredible women comes up with. The larger prints, actually :D. No, I'm not fair, I love them all, but the larger prints are really calling my name.
I saved a bigger frame, now with some It's a hoot print, for my all time favorite, the Echino scooters. And I just found it on-line, I only have to decide what colour I love most and where can I find some spare money. For a bag too. And maybe a wallet. And some pincusions. And maybe a notbook cover. In every colour :D
Oh, and I couldn't help at using every little bit of the helicopters so I made one tiny pincushion.
